Good Fellow Golf at the 2025 Boston Heart Classic

The 2025 Boston Heart Classic presented by Blue Owl was a picture-perfect day on the course with an even greater purpose. Hosted at Brae Burn Country Club, golfers from across the country came together to support the David Ortiz Children’s Fund (DOCF), which provides life-saving heart surgeries for children in the Dominican Republic and New England.

From clutch putts to friendly mulligans, laughter on the fairways, and inspiring celebrity appearances, the event embodied Big Papi’s legacy of love and leadership. Together, the Boston Heart Classic and its broader Soirée of Hearts initiative have now raised over $3 million, funding nearly 400 surgeries for kids who deserve a second chance at a healthy life.

Good Fellow Golf’s Role
We were proud to be part of this unforgettable day. Good Fellow Golf donated The Merrymaker golf organizer to all participants, helping golfers keep their gear, cigars, and accessories organized in style. Celebrities who contributed to the cause received loaded Merrymakers, complete with premium cigars, top-shelf liquor, and all the essentials for the course.

As a special tribute, David Ortiz himself received a custom one-of-one Merrymaker, personalized with his Boston Red Sox retired number 34—a piece as legendary as the man himself.
