March is Women’s History Month, and it feels like the perfect time to recognize the women who have helped shape the game we love. We also want to thank those who have influenced our product at Jolly Golf.
Women have been part of golf for a long time. Long before we came along, pioneers were carving out space in a sport that didn’t always make it easy. That’s something we believe is worth acknowledging.
When Jolly Golf was first taking shape, one message we heard early and often was that women wanted more options. They did not want to be treated as an afterthought, and they rejected the old “shrink it and pink it” approach of taking a well-designed men’s product and turning it into a smaller, less thoughtful version. They wanted products that felt just as intentional, functional, and well-designed from the very beginning.
We’ll be honest. While our product was intended to be unisex, our original color palette left something to be desired. We took that feedback seriously.
We’re proud of where it’s led us. Our goal has always been to design accessories that feel equally thoughtful for everyone who picks them up, regardless of who they are or how they play.
So this month, we’re grateful for the history that helped this sport grow. We’re also grateful for the women who gave us honest feedback and pushed us to do better. We’re still listening, and we always will be.
